USES OF GRANDEM 1MG INJECTIONPrevents or manages nausea and vomiting caused by, chemotherapy or radiotherapy for cancer surgery HOW GRANDEM 1MG INJECTION WORKSGRANDEM 1MG INJECTION acts by inhibiting a receptor called 5-HT3 receptor which is present both in the brain and gastrointestinal tract. This inhibition of 5-HT3 receptors in turn inhibits the stimulation of the vomiting centre, managing nausea and vomiting. DIRECTIONS FOR USEGRANDEM 1MG INJECTION will be given as an injection into the veins (intravenous) by your doctor or nurse. Your doctor will give the right dose depending on your age, body weight and health condition.
