Detailed Information
Introduction
GLIPTAGREAT DM 1000 TABLET is a combination of Dapagliflozin, metformin, and vildagliptin, which belongs to a group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. It is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Along with management, follow a regular exercise and diet plan as advised by the doctor to achieve better results. Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels. Metformin works to control blood sugar by helping insulin, naturally produced by your body, decrease the amount of sugar your liver makes and also decrease the amount of sugar your intestines absorb. Vildagliptin is a potent and selective dipeptidylpeptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that improves glycemic control. Vildagliptin inhibition of DPP-4 results in increased fasting and postprandial endogenous levels of the incretin hormones GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide 1) and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide). GLIPTAGREAT DM 1000 TABLET is not recommended if you have type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, a history of lactic acidosis, or severe dehydration. Before taking it, inform your doctor if you are scheduled for surgery, x-ray or scanning procedures, or vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency. GLIPTAGREAT DM 1000 TABLET is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women. The safety and effectiveness of GLIPTAGREAT DM 1000 TABLET in children and adolescents have not been established. When taking GLIPTAGREAT DM 1000 TABLET, alcohol consumption is not recommended. The most common
