Methylcobalamin works by producing a compound called myelin, which covers and protects nerve fibers and helps to rejuvenate the damaged nerves. Pyridoxine is an essential nutrient that is required for the metabolism of lipids, carbohydrates, and proteins. It is also needed for the synthesis of neurotransmitters (chemical messengers), and vitamin D increases the level of nerve growth factor (which helps in the development and survival of nerves) by stimulating its production and managing its depletion.
