INTRODUCTION ABOUT GEMITROL KITGEMITROL KIT is a combination of Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, Risedronate, and Zinc, which belong to the group of medicines called Vitamin D metabolites, Minerals and Bone Conserving Agents respectively. GEMITROL KIT is indicated in the management of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Prior to the management with GEMITROL KIT, your doctor might ask you to take some diagnostic tests. Before taking GEMITROL KIT, inform your doctor if you have kidney diseases, stomach or digestive problems, problems swallowing, difficulty in movement such as after an operation, low blood calcium, difficulty in absorption, and plan to undergo dental surgery. GEMITROL KIT is not recommended for use in patients with high levels of calcium in the blood, extra deposits of calcium in the body, abnormalities of the esophagus, and an inability to stand or sit upright.
