INTRODUCTION ABOUT GELUSIL MPS XTRA COOL SUSPENSIONGelusil MPS Xtra Cool Suspension is an Antacid and Antigas liquid used to relieve symptoms of hyperacidity such as heart burn, epigastric discomfort, that are usually associated with indigestion, peptic ulcer, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach), peptic esophagitis (inflammation of the oesophagus) and hiatus hernia (part of the stomach moves up into the chest). Gelusil MPS Xtra Cool Suspension is also used to relieve flatulence (gas). It contains activated dimethicone, dried aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide as an active ingredients. Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide both are antacids work by neutralizing the stomach's acid and provides relief from hyperacidity. Activated dimethicone is an antifoaming agent that decreases acid reflux and acts as an antiflatulent which eliminates the trapped gas in the stomach and intestine, thus relieves bloating. Always take Gelusil MPS Xtra Cool Suspension as advised by the physician. Shake well before use. Take 1-2 teaspoonfuls (approximately 5-10 ml) 30-60 minutes after meals or whenever symptoms appear. Do not take more than 10 teaspoonfuls (50ml) of Gelusil MPS Xtra Cool Suspension in a 24-hour period or do not use for more than 2 weeks, except under the advice of your doctor.
