How It Works
FRENIN 10MG INJECTION is an alpha-1 adrenergic agonist and after injection it produces peripheral vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels), leading to increased blood pressure.
Directions for Use
FRENIN 10MG INJECTION will be given to you only by a doctor as an injection into the muscle (intramuscular injection) or just under the skin (subcutaneous injection) or into a vein (intravenous injection). Your doctor will decide the correct dosage and duration for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.

FRENIN 10MG INJECTION should be used with caution in women with a history of pre-eclampsia (complicated pregnancy). Administration of FRENIN 10MG INJECTION in late pregnancy or labour may cause fetal hypoxia (decreased oxygen supply to unborn baby) and bradycardia (slow heart rate). Consult your doctor before receiving it. BREASTFEEDINGFRENIN 10MG INJECTION should be used with caution in breastfeeding women as it is not known whether this medicine passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before using it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINESFRENIN 10MG INJECTION does not affect your ability to drive or use machines. However, if you feel unwell you must contact your doctor before driving or operating machinery. KIDNEYFRENIN 10MG INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease and may require dose adjustment. Consult your doctor before receiving it. LIVERFRENIN 10MG INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with liver disease and may require dose adjustment. Consult your doctor before receiving it. HEART DISEASEFRENIN 10MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients with high blood pressure. It should be used with caution in patients with heart conditions such as ischemic heart disease, arrhythmia (irregular heartbeats), angina pectoris (chest pain), partial heart block, occlusive vascular disease (poor blood circulation) or aneurysms (bulging of blood vessels) and serious heart failure. Consult your doctor before receiving it. OTHERSFRENIN 10MG INJECTION is not recommended for use if: you have an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) you have prostatic enlargement the anterior chamber of your eye is shallow you have a history of acute increase of eye pressure (acute narrow-angle glaucoma) Before receiving FRENIN 10MG INJECTION, inform your doctor if: you have diabetes mellitus you have diabetic autonomic neuropathy (a complication of diabetes mellitus) you have arteriosclerosis (hardening and thickening of the walls of the blood vessels) you have poor blood circulation in the brain you have closed-angle glaucoma (increased eye pressure) Use in pediatrics: FRENIN 10MG INJECTION should be used with caution in children.
