INTRODUCTION ABOUT FORISTAL ANTI ITCH LOTIONForistal Anti Itch Lotion is used to manage pruritus associated with urticaria, atopic dermatitis, and allergic skin conditions. It contains Pramoxine HCl, Calamine, Tetrahydrocurcumin, Aloe Vera, and Glycerine which provide rapid relief from itch within 3 to 5 minutes. They also provide mild local anesthetic and anti-pruritic action and soothing effects. Pramoxine HCl is a local anesthetic and antipruritic agent that works by stopping nerves from sending pain signals. Calamine is an anti-itch agent that works by causing a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. It also dries oozing or weeps from minor skin irritation. Tetrahydrocurcumin protects the skin by minimizing inflammation, and improving collagen deposition, improving fibroblast and vascular density. Aloe vera acts by stimulating the fibroblast which produces collagen and elastin fibres making the skin more elastic and less wrinkled. Glycerine acts as an emollient and humectant (a moisturizing agent) that pull water into the outer layer of the skin from deeper levels of the skin and the air.
