Folpill Tablet is a nerve health supplement used to manage diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) which is a common complication of diabetes mellitus. It contains L-methylfolate, methylcobalamin and pyridoxal-5-phosphate as active ingredients to meet increased nutritional demand in diabetic patients. L-methylfolate repairs nerve injury by promoting schwann cells (cells that form protective covering over nerve cells) proliferation and secretion of nerve growth factors. Methylcobalamin acts by aiding in replenishment of vitamin B12 levels which supports the regeneration of damaged nerves in the body. Pyridoxine plays an essential role in synthesis of myelin sheath (protective covering on the nerves) and certain neurotransmitters (chemical messengers that help in nerve conduction), thereby promoting the nerve protection and functioning.
