INTRODUCTION ABOUT FETON XT SYRUPFeton-XT Syrup is a haematinic preparation used to manage iron deficiency anaemia due to chronic blood loss, hook-worm infestation, inadequate intake of iron, dimorphic anaemia due to deficiency of iron, folic acid and/or vitamin B12, anaemia of pregnancy and lactation. Also, used as tonic in general weakness, lack of appetite, rundown conditions and convalescence, post-surgery and other debilitated states. It contains ferrous ascorbate, folic acid and vitamin B12 as active ingredients to manage anaemia. Ferrous ascorbate is necessary for the synthesis of haemoglobin. Thus, helps to manage anaemia. Folic acid is essential component for the synthesis of DNA and RNA including the formation of red blood cells. Vitamin B12 works closely with folic acid to make red blood cells and helps iron to work better in the body. Always take Feton-XT Syrup as advised by the physician. Shake well before use. Recommended dosage for adults is one tablespoonful twice a day after meals. For children, it should be used as directed by the doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
