FERRONOMIC PLUS Tablet is a dietary supplement that is used to manage iron deficiency anaemia during pregnancy. It contains Disodium Guanosine-5-monophosphate, Ferrous Bis-Glycinate, Folic acid, and Lactoferrin as the active ingredients. Disodium guanosine 5-monophosphate helps in decreasing the levels of hepcidin (responsible for the impairment of iron absorption) and thus promotes effective iron-mediated formation of red blood cells. Lactoferrin normalizes iron homeostasis by facilitating iron absorption and inhibiting inflammatory processes responsible for anemia. Folic acid is essential for growth and development, especially during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, to protect the baby against neural tube defects.
