FERISOMAL Tablet is an iron supplement used to correct iron deficiency anemia. It contains elemental iron in the form of Ferric pyrophosphate as active ingredient. Iron is an essential micronutrient that gives the red blood cells the reddish brown colour and the capacity to transport oxygen. It also helps in energy production, DNA synthesis and in boosting immunity. Therefore, it improves the signs of anemia like tiredness, weakness, pale skin, etc. Take FERISOMAL Tablet as advised by your doctor. Chew the medicine completely. Do not swallow the medicine directly without chewing. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosages. Before taking FERISOMAL Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing disease condition as a precaution. FERISOMAL Tablet can be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
