FERI TABLET is a combination of Cyanocobalamin, Folic acid and Sodium feredetate which belongs to the group of medicines called Haematinics. FERI TABLET increases haemoglobin, where cyanocobalamin and folic acid are essential for the synthesis and repair of DNA and they act as cofactors in biological reactions, which are required to make fresh RBCs, manage anaemia and for the regular working of the brain and nervous system. Sodium fedetate is an important component of haemoglobin and myoglobin (a pigment that stores oxygen in muscle).
Directions for Use
Take FERI TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you based on your age, body weight and disease condition.

Drug-Drug interactions: Before taking FERI TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: dimercaprol (used to manage arsenic, mercury, gold and lead toxicity) penicillamine (used to manage arthritis) medicines used to manage bacterial infections (Ex. neomycin, para-aminosalicylic acid, ofloxacin, levofloxacin, doxycycline) mycophenolate (used to manage certain kidney and skin diseases) medicines used to manage Parkinson’s disease (Ex. levodopa, carbidopa) thyroxine (used in thyroid hormone deficiency) medicines used to manage bone problems (Ex. disodium pamidronate, ibandronate) methyldopa (used to reduce blood pressure) colchicine (used to manage gout) metformin and similar medicines (used to manage diabetes) cholestyramine (used to reduce blood cholesterol) potassium chloride (used to manage potassium deficiency) cimetidine (used to manage stomach ulcers) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of FERI TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
