Introduction

INTRODUCTIONFEMOSTON MINI is a combination of Dydrogesterone and Estradiol which belongs to the group of medicines called Hormone Replacement Therapy. It is used among postmenopausal women to relive menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep problems, irritability, or depression. It can also be used to prevent osteoporosis (bone loss and fragility) among postmenopausal women who are at risk of developing fractures easily. FEMOSTON MINI should be used only in women who do not have their period at least for the past 6 months. Estradiol and dydrogesterone are synthetic derivative of female sex hormones (oestrogen and progesterone). They supplement our body with sufficient levels of female sex hormones which improves postmenopausal symptoms. FEMOSTON MINI is not a contraceptive (birth control pill), therefore it cannot prevent you from becoming pregnant. Directions for Use

Take FEMOSTON MINI strictly as advised by your physician. Swallow FEMOSTON MINI with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Try to take FEMOSTON MINI at the same time each day. Do not miss any dose of FEMOSTON MINI in between the therapy, as it may reduce its effectiveness. In case if you have missed a dose of FEMOSTON MINI take it as soon as you remember. Avoid taking a double dose of FEMOSTON MINI to compensate the missed dose it may lead to bleeding or spotting. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of FEMOSTON MINI for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Side Effects

LUNGSFEMOSTON MINI should be used with caution in patients with asthma. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASEFEMOSTON MINI is not recommended for use in patients with heart diseases (such as heart attack, stroke or angina). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
