taking FEMOSTON 2/10 are stomach pain, back pain, breast pain or tenderness, headache, vaginal infection, or vaginal discharge. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens. Also, inform your doctor if you experience any changes in your breast such as breast pain, tenderness, discharge from the nipple, or lump growth in the breasts. USES OF FEMOSTON 2/10It is used in postmenopausal women to: relieve menopausal symptoms prevent osteoporosis HOW FEMOSTON 2/10 WORKSFEMOSTON 2/10 supplements our body with sufficient levels of female sex hormones (estrogen and progesterone). This helps in manageing problems associated with hormonal deficiency states such as menopause. As a result, it provides relief from postmenopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep problems, irritability, depression and bone loss. DIRECTIONS FOR USETake FEMOSTON 2/10 strictly as advised by your physician. Swallow FEMOSTON 2/10 with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Try to take FEMOSTON 2/10 at the same time each day. Do not miss any dose of FEMOSTON 2/10 in between the therapy, as it may reduce its effectiveness. In case if you have missed a dose of FEMOSTON 2/10 take it as soon as you remember. Avoid taking a double dose of FEMOSTON 2/10 to compensate the missed dose it may lead to bleeding or spotting. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of FEMOSTON 2/10 for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. SIDE EFFECTS OF FEMOSTON 2/10COMMON stomach pain, back pain breast pain or tenderness vaginal thrush (a vaginal infection) depression, nervousness headache, dizziness nausea, vomiting flatulence pelvic pain, vaginal discharge feeling unwell, weakness or tiredness swelling of the ankles, feet, or fingers weight gain UNCOMMON cystitis symptoms like (increased urination, burning sensation, blood in urine) changes in libido varicose vein indigestion gallbladder disease breast swelling pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS) weight loss RARE ovarian cancer anaemia (symptoms such as weakness, tiredness, shortness of breath and headache) memory problems, inability to think, reasoning, changes in mood and behaviour muscle twitches worsening of fits (epilepsy) eye problems blood clots in the arteries (arterial thromboembolism) inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis) leg cramps uterine cervical ulceration increased thyroid activity Stop taking FEMOSTON 2/10 and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects: allergic reactions (such as skin rash, itching, swelling of the skin around the face and neck, difficulty to breath or swallow) heart attack tumours that interact the levels of progestogens (Ex. meningioma) heavy, abnormal, painful vaginal bleeding, irregular or prolonged bleeding (for more than 6 months) sings of liver disease such as yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes (jaundice) rise in blood pressure (symptoms include headache, tiredness, dizziness) migraine or severe headache blood clot (symptoms include painful swelling, redness of the legs, sudden chest pain, difficulty in breathing) signs of breast cancer (such as breast pain or discharge, skin dimpling, changes in the nipple, or formation of lump in breast) skin disorders like chloasma (discolouration of skin in the face and neck), erythema nodosum (painful reddish patches on skin), erythema multiforme (skin rash with reddish colour and sores)
