Introduction

FEBUMEX 40 TABLET is used in the management of essential hypertension (high blood pressure). It also controls heart pumping strength and in the management of mild and moderate chronic heart failure (above 70 years of age). It contains Nebivolol which belongs to the group of medicines called Beta blockers. Along with FEBUMEX 40 TABLET, your doctor might advise you to make certain lifestyle changes, such as healthy eating, sleep, weight and stress management, quitting smoking and alcohol. Your doctor may ask you to undergo some blood tests before starting the management with the medicine. It is not recommended for use in patients having liver, kidney, lungs, or heart disease, circulation problems, unmanaged pheochromocytoma, or diabetic ketoacidosis. Before starting the management with FEBUMEX 40 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have diabetes or an overactive thyroid gland. No studies of this medicine were conducted in pregnant women.
