INTRODUCTION ABOUT FEBRINIL 250MG SUSPENSIONFEBRINIL 250MG SUSPENSION contains Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Analgesics and Antipyretics. It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain like headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, period pains, teething, immunisation, earache, and general aches and pains. It can also be used to manage fever (high temperature), and symptoms of cold or flu. Before taking FEBRINIL 250MG SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, fructose intolerance, Gilberts syndrome, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, hemolytic anaemia, reduced glutathione levels, malnourishment, dehydration or if you weigh less than 50 kg. How It Works
FEBRINIL 250MG SUSPENSION relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating, and loss of body heat.
