INTRODUCTION ABOUT EZIMET S OINTMENTEZIMET S OINTMENT is a combination of Mometasone and Salicylic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Dermatological agents. EZIMET S OINTMENT is used to manage the symptoms of eczema which is a skin condition characterized by patches of skin that have become inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough with few types leading to blisters. It is generally caused by triggering factors such as nuts and dairy which might also occur due to environmental triggering factors such as smoke, pollen, soaps and fragrances leading to onset of symptoms of eczema. Avoid applying EZIMET S OINTMENT, if you have rosacea (a skin condition affecting the face), acne (pimples), skin atrophy (thinning of the skin), dermatitis (skin inflammation) around the mouth, genital itching, viral infections such as shingles, chickenpox (viral infection), ulcerated skin and wounds. Before applying EZIMET S OINTMENT, inform your doctor if you have any skin problems. EZIMET S OINTMENT should be used in pregnant women only if advised by the doctor. How It Works

EZIMET S OINTMENT is used to manage symptoms of eczema, where Mometasone reduces the redness and itchiness of skin by blocking the production of prostaglandin (chemical messenger), which is responsible for causing redness and itchiness of skin and Salicylic acid helps in softening the moisture in the skin which results in the shedding of outer layer of skin thereby providing relief from the symptoms of eczema.

Directions for Use

Always apply EZIMET S OINTMENT as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. On the affected area, apply a thin layer of this medicine. It should not be applied under bandages or similar. Avoid applying the medicine around your eyes or mucous membrane. Your doctor will decide the duration and frequency of using this medicine depending upon severity of the condition.

Side Effects

SA. Drug-Drug Interactions: Before using EZIMET S OINTMENT, inform your doctor if you are using any medicines including prescription or non-prescription medicines. Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally applied too much of EZIMET S OINTMENT, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
