Introduction

INTRODUCTION ABOUT EUMOSONE CREAMEUMOSONE CREAM contains Clobetasone butyrate, which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical corticosteroids. It is used in the management of mild eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, insect bites, inflammation of the outer surface of the ear, nappy rashes, and other steroid-responsive disorders, as it helps to reduce the symptoms such as swelling, irritation, redness, and itching sensation of the skin. EUMOSONE CREAM is not recommended for use in patients with unmanageed active skin infections (viral infections such as herpes or chicken pox etc.) (fungal infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, oral thrush etc.) acne, severe flushing of skin on and around your nose, itching sensation of the skin without swelling etc. Before using EUMOSONE CREAM inform your doctor if you have broken skin, skin folds or an ulcer (such as chronic leg ulcer) at the site of application, psoriasis etc. EUMOSONE CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if recommended by your doctor. EUMOSONE CREAM should be used with caution in children less than 12 years of age and is not recommended to use for more than 7 days. Consult your doctor before using EUMOSONE CREAM. Consult your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse or persist.

How It Works

EUMOSONE CREAM works by decreasing the response of certain mediators that cause swelling, redness, and itching sensations of the skin. As a result, it manages and controls eczema, dermatitis, insect bites, and other inflammatory reaction of the skin.

Directions for Use

Apply EUMOSONE CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands and apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area of the skin and rub gently. Avoid contact with the eye. Do not cover the managed area with bandages or dressings unless advised by the physician.

Side Effects

EUMOSONE CREAMRAREStop using EUMOSONE CREAM and consult your physician immediately if you experience any of the following side effects: severe allergic reaction worsening of skin condition or development of a generalised rash or swollen skin develop infections pustular psoriasis (characterised by raised bumps with pus under the skin) during or after using this medicine

Inform your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant while using EUMOSONE CREAM. BREASTFEEDINGEUMOSONE CREAM should be used with caution in breastfeeding mothers only if recommended by your doctor. Consult your doctor before using EUMOSONE CREAM. DRIVING AND USING MACHINESEUMOSONE CREAM will not affect your ability to drive or use heavy machinery. ALLERGYDo not use EUMOSONE CREAM if you are allergic to clobetasone butyrate or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. OTHERSEUMOSONE CREAM is not recommended for use if you have: unmanageed active skin infections viral infections, such as cold sores, herpes, or chickenpox fungal infections such as ringworm, athletes’ foot or thrush acne severe flushing of skin on and around your nose (rosacea) itchy skin (not inflamed) skin blisters or sores that are caused by an infection perioral dermatitis (tiny red bumps around the mouth) Before using EUMOSONE CREAM inform your doctor if you have: ulcers (such as chronic leg ulcers), skin folds, broken skin or cut injury of the area to be manageed cataracts or glaucoma blurred vision or other visual disturbances thin or thinning of the skin surface Use in paediatrics: EUMOSONE CREAM should be used with caution in children less than 12 years of age and is not recommended to use for more than 7 days. Consult your doctor before using EUMOSONE CREAM. Use in geriatrics: EUMOSONE CREAM should be used with caution in elderly patients. Your doctor will decide the dose, duration of management, and frequency depending on the severity of your disease conditions. Consult your doctor for advice.

Drug Interactions

SA. Drug-Drug interactions: Before using EUMOSONE CREAM inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: antivirals such as ritonavir (used to manage HIV infection) antifungals such as itraconazole (used to manage fungal infections) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally swallowed or used too much of EUMOSONE CREAM, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
