Introduction

ETOGESIC T TABLET is a combination of Etodolac and Tolperisone which belongs to the group of medicines called Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs and Muscle Relaxants respectively. It is used in adults for the management of acute inflammation conditions associated with muscle spasm characterized by weakness, swelling and muscle pain. ETOGESIC T TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with asthma, pain before or after bypass surgery. Consult your doctor before taking ETOGESIC T TABLET. It should be used with caution in patients having liver, kidney, and other heart disease. It is not recommended during pregnancy and in breast feeding mothers, consult your doctor for advice. ALLERGYDo not take ETOGESIC T TABLET if you are allergic to Etodolac or Tolperisone or any ingredients of this medicine. LUNGSETOGESIC T TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with asthma. Consult your doctor before taking ETOGESIC T TABLET. HEART DISEASEETOGESIC T TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having pain before or after bypass surgery. Drug Interactions

Drug - Drug interactions: Before taking the medicine, tell your doctor if you are taking the following: medicines used to manage high blood pressure (Ex. furosemide, bumetanide) magnesium hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide (medicines used to manage heart burn) phenylbutazone, aspirin (medicines used as a pain killer) cyclosporine (medicines used for immunosuppression after organ transplant) medicine used to manage an abnormal heart rhythm (Ex. digoxin) methotrexate (medicine used to manage cancer and auto-immune diseases) lithium (medicine used to manage depression and mania) phenytoin used to manage fits (epilepsy) warfarin (used as a blood thinning agent) glyburide (medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes) Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of ETOGESIC T TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose include drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain (upper abdomen pain), gastrointestinal bleeding.
