Introduction
EROPHYLLINE AC TABLET is a combination of Acebrophylline and N-Acetylcysteine which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators and Mucolytics respectively. It is used in the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to manage inflammation of the airways (such as bronchitis or cystic fibrosis) and reduce the onset of other complications caused due to mucus obstruction in the airways such as bronchospasm (paralysis of airways) and wheezing or shortness of breath. Take EROPHYLLINE AC TABLET preferably with meals or as advised by your physician. Before taking EROPHYLLINE AC TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. EROPHYLLINE AC TABLET is a bronchodilator with anti-inflammatory and mucolytic properties. It blocks the release of certain chemicals (such as phosphodiesterase) in the respiratory tract that triggers airway inflammation, swelling and narrowing. As a result, it widens the airways, and reduces airway inflammation. It also loosens the mucus accumulated in the airways which allows the air to pass through more freely through the airways and makes breathing easier.
