Introduction
ENVAS H 5MG TABLET is a combination of Enalapril and Hydrochlorothiazide which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. It is used in the management of hypertension (high blood pressure). It is typically used in patients who have not responded adequately to therapy with either of the single agents. Before taking ENVAS H 5MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any lung, liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, low blood pressure or severe dehydration as a precaution. ENVAS H 5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe hypotension or severe kidney problems. It is also not suitable for use in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to increased risk of

How It Works
ENVAS H 5MG TABLET is an antihypertensive medicine. It relaxes your blood vessels and improves blood flow across them. It also reduces thickness of the blood by removing excess fluids from the body in the form of urine. Collectively, these actions reduce the strain on the heart and helps the heart to pump blood more smoothly with less pressure.
Directions for Use
Take ENVAS H 5MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicines with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. ENVAS H 5MG TABLET can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Continue to take ENVAS H 5MG TABLET for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor to achieve better results.
Side Effects

If you accidentally become pregnant while undergoing therapy with ENVAS H 5MG TABLET, inform your doctor immediately. BREASTFEEDINGENVAS H 5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in breast-feeding women. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINESDo not drive or operate any heavy tools or machines if you feel dizzy after taking ENVAS H 5MG TABLET. ALCOHOLAvoid consumption of alcohol while taking ENVAS H 5MG TABLET as it may severely decrease your blood pressure and make you feel dizzier or faint. KIDNEYENVAS H 5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney impairment (including dialysis). It should be used with caution in patients with other kidney problems (including kidney transplantation or renal artery stenosis). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. LIVERENVAS H 5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver problems. It should be used with caution in patients with other liver problems. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGYDo not take ENVAS H 5MG TABLET if you are allergic to Hydrochlorothiazide, Enalapril or to any other ACE inhibitor (such as captopril lisinopril, ramipril). LUNGSENVAS H 5MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with asthma. It should also be used with caution among patients who previously developed any breathing problems following the consumption of this medicine. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASEENVAS H 5MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with heart problems (such as ischemic heart disease (low oxygen supply to heart muscles), heart block, narrowing of heart valves, heart failure etc.). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
