Benzocaine is a local anesthetic which numbs the pain by blocking the nerve signals in your body and used to manage pain and irritation caused by ear infection or injury. Chloramphenicol belongs to antibiotics used to manage superficial bacterial infections caused by bacteria susceptible to this medicine’s action.
