INTRODUCTION ABOUT ENMOX EYE DROPSENMOX EYE DROPS contains Moxifloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial conjunctivitis and other eye infections. Bacterial conjunctivitis is the infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines the eyelid and covers the white part of your eyeball. Symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis include pain, discomfort, redness, itching, irritation, and watering of the eyes. Patients should be advised not to wear contact lenses if they have signs and symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis. ENMOX EYE DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant women or if you think you may be pregnant and in breastfeeding woman. Consult your doctor before using the medicine. ENMOX EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in the newborn and it should be used with caution in children and adolescents. ENMOX EYE DROPS works by inhibiting the bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV which are required for DNA replication and transcription resulting in cell death. This manages the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing and destroys them.
