Introduction
ENAPRIL HT TABLET is a combination of Enalapril and Hydrochlorothiazide which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. It is used in the management of hypertension (high blood pressure). It is typically used in patients who have not responded adequately to therapy with either of the single agents. Before taking ENAPRIL HT TABLET inform your doctor if you have any lung, liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, low blood pressure or severe dehydration as a precaution. ENAPRIL HT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe hypotension or severe kidney problems. It is also not suitable for use in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to increased risk of

How It Works
ENAPRIL HT TABLET is an antihypertensive medicine. It relaxes your blood vessels and improves blood flow across them. It also reduces thickness of the blood by removing excess fluids from the body in the form of urine. Collectively, these actions reduce the strain on the heart and helps the heart to pump blood more smoothly with less pressure.
Directions for Use
Take ENAPRIL HT TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicines with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. ENAPRIL HT TABLET can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Continue to take ENAPRIL HT TABLET for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor to achieve better results.

Therefore, inform your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby. If you accidentally become pregnant while undergoing therapy with ENAPRIL HT TABLET, inform your doctor immediately. BREASTFEEDINGENAPRIL HT TABLET is not recommended for use in breast-feeding women. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. DRIVING AND USING MACHINESDo not drive or operate any heavy tools or machines if you feel dizzy after taking ENAPRIL HT TABLET. ALCOHOLAvoid consumption of alcohol while taking ENAPRIL HT TABLET as it may severely decrease your blood pressure and make you feel dizzier or faint. KIDNEYENAPRIL HT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney impairment (including dialysis). It should be used with caution in patients with other kidney problems (including kidney transplantation or renal artery stenosis). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. LIVERENAPRIL HT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver problems. It should be used with caution in patients with other liver problems. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. ALLERGYDo not take ENAPRIL HT TABLET if you are allergic to Hydrochlorothiazide, Enalapril or to any other ACE inhibitor (such as captopril lisinopril, ramipril). LUNGSENAPRIL HT TABLET should be used with caution in patients with asthma. It should also be used with caution among patients who previously developed any breathing problems following the consumption of this medicine. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. HEART DISEASEENAPRIL HT TABLET should be used with caution in patients with heart problems (such as ischemic heart disease (low oxygen supply to heart muscles), heart block, narrowing of heart valves, heart failure etc.). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
