INTRODUCTION ABOUT ELECTRAL APPLE LIQUIDElectral Delicious Apple Flavour Liquid is a ready to drink ORS rehydration solution used for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes and maintenance of hydration in diarrhoea, vomiting and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes. It contains Sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, Sodium citrate and Dextrose which are important to maintain normal fluid balance in the body. Dextrose or glucose is the main ingredient of ORS. It facilitates the absorption of sodium and water in the small intestine. Sodium chloride and Potassium chloride are required as replacement of these essential ions during diarrhoea and vomiting. Citrate corrects the excess acid levels that occurs due to diarrhoea. Electral Delicious Apple Flavour Liquid ensures patient compliance and offer convenience. It should be used with caution in patients with depressed kidney function, severe continuing diarrhea, or other critical fluid losses.
