INTRODUCTION ABOUT DUTAMAX LOTIONDUTAMAX LOTION contains Dutasteride which belongs to the group of medicines called 5-Alpha reductase inhibitors. It is used to manage hair loss (male pattern baldness) in both men and in women. It is also suitable for managing hair loss caused due to endocrine therapy in patients with breast cancer. Male pattern baldness (also known as androgenetic alopecia) is a common type of hair loss that primarily affects the hairs present in the crown and at the front portion of the scalp. It happens mainly due to hormonal imbalance and is often characterized by baldness and thinning of hair. Before using DUTAMAX LOTION inform your doctor if you are allergic to dutasteride or to any other similar medicines (Ex. finasteride). How It Works
DUTAMAX LOTION reduces hair fall and increases hair growth on the scalp. It works by blocking the production of certain stress hormones (dihydrotestosterone) in the body, that causes hair loss, thereby reversing balding process and manages further hair loss.
Directions for Use
Apply DUTAMAX LOTION as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Apply the medicine on your scalp as instructed by your doctor. Gently massage the scalp after application. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition. Avoid contact of this medicine on your eyes, ears, nose, or mouth.
