It contains lactulose as an active ingredient that helps to soften the stool as well as to remove toxins from the body. Lactulose gets broken down in the colon into products that pull water out from the body and into the colon. This water softens stools and relieves constipation. It also helps to reduce the amount of ammonia in blood with liver disease by drawing ammonia from blood into colon from where it is removed from the body. Always take Duphalac Fiber Solution as advised by your doctor. Shake well before use. Use a measuring or a spoon to properly measure the dose. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
