Lactulose breaks down in the colon into the metabolites that absorb water from the body and release it into the colon and this water helps in softening the stools. Reconstitute 20% of Duphalac Enema before use and use the diluted enema immediately or as advised by your doctor. Use the extended tube provided with the pouch for enema administration.
