DOXCEF CV 200MG TABLET is used to manage mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of microorganisms in conditions such as acute otitis media (middle ear infection), pharyngitis (sore throat)/tonsillitis (inflammation of tonsils), community-acquired pneumonia, chronic bronchitis (respiratory infection), and acute maxillary sinusitis (sinus infection) in affected individuals. DOXCEF CV 200MG TABLET is also used to manage uncomplicated skin structure infections, urethral and cervical gonorrhoea (sexually transmitted disease), anorectal (anal/rectal) infections, and urinary tract infections in affected individuals. DOXCEF CV 200MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Cefpodoxime, Clavulanic Acid, and/or other cephalosporin groups of antibiotics. It is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency (lactose intolerance), and glucose-galactose malabsorption (a condition marked by the inability of the body to absorb glucose and galactose sugars).
