Introduction
DOLOXICAM DT DISPERSIBLE TABLET contains Piroxicam, which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs. It is used to relieve the symptoms caused by osteoarthritis (a joint disease that occurs when the protective tissues at the end of the bones wear out and is characterised by joint pain in the hands, neck, and hip), rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune disease-causing painful swelling of joints and stiffness), and ankylosing spondylitis (rheumatism of the spine resulting in a hunched forward posture). DOLOXICAM DT DISPERSIBLE TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having liver, kidney, or heart problems, and it should be used with caution in patients with asthma. DOLOXICAM DT DISPERSIBLE TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women, especially during the last three months of pregnancy and breastfeeding. How It Works
DOLOXICAM DT DISPERSIBLE TABLET exerts its anti-inflammatory actions by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase-1, thereby blocking the release of prostaglandins (a substance produced during injury and inflammation that causes pain and swelling) and other chemical mediators that cause pain and swelling.
Directions for Use
Take DOLOXICAM DT DISPERSIBLE TABLET as advised by your physician. Dissolve the tablet in a glass of water, and then drink all of it immediately. The correct dose and duration will be decided by your doctor depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.
Side Effects
