INTRODUCTION ABOUT DISOVEX EAR DROPSDISOVEX EAR DROPS is a combination of Paradichlorobenzene, Benzocaine, Chlorbutol and Turpentine Oil which belongs to the group of medicines called Otic agents, Local anaesthetics, Wax softeners and Lubricating agent. It is indicated in the patients who have impacted wax and keratosis (build-up of keratin in the ear canal). DISOVEX EAR DROPS should be used with caution in patients having kidney and liver diseases, hearing problems, intestinal problems, myasthenia gravis and Parkinson’s disease. DISOVEX EAR DROPS is not recommended for use in children below 1 year of age. Caution must be exercised while using DISOVEX EAR DROPS in pregnant and breast-feeding women. How It Works

DISOVEX EAR DROPS aids in the management of impacted ear wax and keratosis where, Benzocaine belongs to Local anaesthetic which acts on certain nerve pathways and decreases the pain sensation. Paradichlorobenzene acts by reducing the thickness of the impacted wax, facilitating its easy removal. Chlorbutol acts as a wax softener and Turpentine oil removes the dryness and lubricates the ear canal.

Directions for Use

Use DISOVEX EAR DROPS as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Instil 2-3 drops of DISOVEX EAR DROPS in affected ear 3-4 times a day or as directed by physician. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and severity of the condition.
