Digipen Chew Tablet is a palatable preparation of digestive enzymes that are used to improve digestion. It contains protease, amylase, hemicellulase, lipase, cellulase and alpha galactosidase as active ingredients to improve digestion of food. Amylase catalyses the breakdown of starch and polysaccharides present in the food. Hemicellulase enhance the digestion of complex sugars. Lipase promotes the digestion of lipids and fats. Cellulase promotes break down of cellulose into simple sugars. Alpha galactosidase promotes digestion of glycoproteins, glycolipids and polysaccharides. Protease catalyses the breakdown of proteins, thereby all these enzymes together help in getting rid of indigestion and associated discomfort such as gaseous distension and gripping pain. Always take Digipen Chew Tablet as advised by the doctor. For administration, chew the tablet completely before swallowing it. Recommended dosage is 1-2 tablets with each meal.
