How It Works

DIFLUMOX EYE DROPS contains two medicines namely, Difluprednate and Moxifloxacin. Difluprednate is a steroid medicine which suppresses the release of certain inflammatory mediators within the body that causes eye inflammation, pain and swelling. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic medicine used to kill the susceptible microorganisms that causes eye infections. Together, they both help in the management of eye infection, inflammation and pain.

Directions for Use

Use DIFLUMOX EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Tilt your head slightly backwards and gently pull your lower eyelid. Instil few drops of this medicine into the eyes and close your eyes for 2 minutes. Repeat the same for the other eye if required. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying DIFLUMOX EYE DROPS and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. Wash your hands before and after application. Do not touch the tip of the container with your eyes, eyelids, areas around your eyes, outer surface of the ears or fingers, to avoid contamination. Leave a time gap of at least 5 minutes between this medicine and other eye medicines. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and health condition. If there is no improvement in your condition even after using this medicine for 7 days, consult your doctor for advice.
