How It Works
DIAMOX ER 500 CAPSULE effectively manages glaucoma by blocking an enzyme called carbonic anhydrase that reduces the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye) and lowers the intraocular (eye) pressure. It controls epilepsy (fits) by directly blocking an enzyme in the central nervous system, hence increasing the oxygen level of the body. DIAMOX ER 500 CAPSULE also acts on certain parts of the kidneys, which increases the excretion of certain substances through urine, which helps in the release of retained fluid in the body and hence relieves fluid retention.
