INTRODUCTION ABOUT DENDRIGEL OPHTHALMIC GELDENDRIGEL OPHTHALMIC GEL contains Ganciclovir, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antivirals. It is used to manage an infection in the eye called acute herpetic keratitis in adults aged 18 years and over. DENDRIGEL OPHTHALMIC GEL is not recommended for use if you have any pre-existing cytopenia or a history of cytopenic reactions to other drugs, chemicals or irradiation. Before using DENDRIGEL OPHTHALMIC GEL, inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver or heart diseases. Remove contact lenses before using this medicine and put them back 15 minutes later. Drug Interactions

SA. Drug-Drug interactions: Inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine: probenecid (manages gout) trimethoprim/sulpha, dapsone, pentamidine, amphotericin B, imipenem/cilastatin or zidovudine vincristine, vinblastine, adriamycin or flucytosine Overdosage: If you or anyone else accidentally uses too much of DENDRIGEL OPHTHALMIC GEL, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
