INTRODUCTION ABOUT CYCLOBID SUSPENSIONCYCLOBID SUSPENSION is a combination of Dicyclomine, and Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Antispasmodics, Analgesic and Anti-pyretic respectively. CYCLOBID SUSPENSION is an antispasmodic works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It manages unexpected muscular contractions (spasms). It also reduces bloating, pain, cramps, and discomfort. Paracetamol is analgesics and antipyretic as well works by inhibiting both COX-1 and COX-2 enzyme and manages prostaglandin synthesis, thus reliefs pain.
Directions for Use
Take CYCLOBID SUSPENSION as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Depending upon your age, body weight, and medical state, your doctor will decide the appropriate dose and duration for you.
Side Effects
the gastrointestinal tract, severe ulcerative colitis, reflux esophagitis. CYCLOBID SUSPENSION should be used with caution in patients with asthma, liver disease, cirrhosis, kidney disease, hypertension, coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure, and cardiac tachyarrhythmia, psychosis, and delirium (such as elderly patients and/or in patients with mental illness), incomplete intestinal obstruction (small intestine partially or totally blocked). CYCLOBID SUSPENSION should be also used with caution in patients with salmonella dysentery, ulcerative colitis (inflammatory bowel disease), prostatic hypertrophy (prostate gland enlargement), autonomic neuropathy (injury to the nerves that regulate automatic body functions), hypothyroidism, hiatal hernia, suffered from alcoholism, malnutrition, arthritis or must take painkillers often, infection, glucose-6-phosphatedehydrogenase deficiency, haemolytic anaemia (breakdown of red blood cells), bleeding problems. CYCLOBID SUSPENSION should be used during pregnancy, if considered necessary. CYCLOBID SUSPENSION is not recommended for use by breastfeeding women and in infants less than 6 months of age. CYCLOBID SUSPENSION should be used with caution in elderly patients. The most common side effects of taking CYCLOBID SUSPENSION are hypersensitivity reactions, dry mouth, upset stomach, vomiting, constipation and gas or bloating.
