Detailed Information

Introduction

CYBLEX MV 40.2MG TABLET is a combination of Gliclazide, Metformin, and Voglibose, which belongs to a group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. It is used to manage type II diabetes in patients whose blood sugar level is not controlled by diet alone. Type II diabetes, also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes, is a disease condition that occurs when the body does not utilize insulin (a hormone that signals throughout the body to absorb glucose and regulate the blood sugar level), resulting in high blood sugar levels that are characterized by increased thirst, frequent urination, hunger, fatigue, and blurred vision. Your doctor may advise you to take a blood and urine sugar level test before or along with the management. Do not take CYBLEX MV 40.2MG TABLET if you have severe liver, kidney, and heart problems. CYBLEX MV 40.2MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it. CYBLEX MV 40.2MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children, and it should be used with caution in elderly patients. The common

How It Works

CYBLEX MV 40.2MG TABLET works effectively against diabetes, where Gliclazide acts by stimulating the secretion of insulin (a hormone that signals throughout the body to absorb glucose and regulate the blood sugar level) through beta-cell sulphonyl urea receptors. Metformin works by decreasing glucose production in the liver (gluconeogenesis) and increasing insulin sensitivity to absorb glucose. Voglibose inhibits the alpha-glucosidase in the intestine and manages the absorption of glucose from food, thereby reducing the blood sugar level.
