Ispaghula husk absorbs water and forms a gel-like mass that moves down the digestive system and makes the stools softer by increasing its water content. It also lubricates the stool and increases stool bulk, as a result it increases the tension in the bowel wall which triggers bowel movements. Always take Cremadiet Sugar Free Powder as advised by the doctor. Recommended dosage for adults is 1 spoonful 1-3 times daily or as directed by the doctor.
