Introduction

CRAVIHENZ 40 TABLET contains Megestrol which belongs to the group of medicines called Progestogens. CRAVIHENZ 40 TABLET is used for hormone dependent cancer which includes breast and endometrial cancer in affected individuals. CRAVIHENZ 40 TABLET is also used for reduced appetite and weight-loss in patients passing through an advanced stage of cancer/HIV. CRAVIHENZ 40 TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Megestrol. Before taking CRAVIHENZ 40 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, thrombophlebitis (blood clot due to inflammatory process), intolerance to certain sugars (such as lactose), kidney problems (such as chronic kidney disease), and/or severe liver problems. CRAVIHENZ 40 TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy. It is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. CRAVIHENZ 40 TABLET works by changing the hormone balance in the body which results in interference of growth in hormone dependent cancer cells which leads to inhibition of growth and spread of cancer cells.

Directions for Use

Take CRAVIHENZ 40 TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
