INTRODUCTION ABOUT CPDOX CV 100MG ORAL SUSPENSIONCPDOX CV 100MG ORAL SUSPENSION is a combination of Cefpodoxime and Clavulanic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Cephalosporins and Beta-lactamase inhibitors, respectively. CPDOX CV 100MG ORAL SUSPENSION is used in children to manage mild to moderate infections such as otitis media (middle ear infection), nose & throat infections, respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, reproductive tract infection, and skin infection. CPDOX CV 100MG ORAL SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in children allergic to Cefpodoxime, Clavulanic acid, and/or other cephalosporin group of antibiotics. It is also not recommended for use in children suffering from galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency (lactose intolerance), and glucose-galactose malabsorption (condition marked by body’s inability to absorb glucose and galactose sugars). Before administering CPDOX CV 100MG ORAL SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if the child has previous history of hypersensitivity reactions to medicines such as cefpodoxime, other cephalosporins, penicillin, and/or have kidney problems (such as mild/moderate/severe renal impairment), and liver problems (such as hepatic insufficiency/impairment).
