INTRODUCTIONCORECT SUPPOSITORY is a combination medicine which contains Hydrocortisone acetate, Lidocaine, Zinc oxide and Allantoin used to manage pain and bleeding associated with anal fissures and haemorrhoids. It also relives itching, burning and pain from skin inflammations. Anal fissure is a small tear in the lining of the anus that may occur when you pass hard stools. Haemorrhoids (piles) develop from increased pressure in the lower rectum due to straining during bowel movements. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid which reduces pain, itching and inflammation. How It Works

CORECT SUPPOSITORY is a combination of four medicines used to manage anal fissures and haemorrhoids. Hydrocortisone acetate works by calming down your body's immune response to reduce pain, itching and inflammation. Zinc oxide is an anti-irritant manages itching, burning, irritation and rectal discomfort. Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic works by stopping nerves from sending pain signals to your brain and helps to relieve pain and itching. Allantoin acts as an astringent that moisturizes and softens the skin.

Directions for Use

Always use CORECT SUPPOSITORY exactly as your doctor has told you. It is for rectal use only and should not take them by mouth. Wash your hands before using this medicine. First detach one suppository along perforation, then tear at notch fully to remove suppository, lie down, hold legs with hands, separate buttocks to expose rectal area and gently push the suppository well up into the rectum, to ensure proper insertion, hold the buttocks firmly for few seconds.
