receiving COLIHENZ INJECTION are diarrhoea, nausea, stomach pain, rash, insomnia (sleeplessness), and/or occurrence/intensification of numbness. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens. USES OF COLIHENZ INJECTION Manage disturbances of consciousness that occurs due to head injuries, brain operation, and acute cerebral infraction. Manage Alzheimer’s disease and dementia (memory loss) due to Parkinson’s disease. Helps in the recovery phase of cerebral infarction (poor blood supply to the brain) in affected individuals HOW COLIHENZ INJECTION WORKSCOLIHENZ INJECTION works by increasing the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine (chemical that produces acetylcholine, responsible for memory and other bodily functions) which leads to improved cerebral function and cognitive function in Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. It also works by repairing neuronal membranes and damaged cholinergic neurons via potentiation of acetylcholine production and reduction of free fatty acid accumulation at stroke-induced nerve damage site which results in the management neuronal cell death thus helping in the recovery phase of cerebral infarction in affected individuals. DIRECTIONS FOR USECOLIHENZ INJECTION will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into a vein as an intravenous infusion or into a muscle as an intramuscular injection. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
