Introduction
CLONIVAC 100 TABLET contains Clonidine which belongs to group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. CLONIVAC 100 TABLET is used to lower high blood pressure to manage hypertension in affected individuals. CLONIVAC 100 TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to clonidine. It is also not recommended for use in patients with rare hereditary condition of galactose intolerance, and/or heart diseases (such as heart failure, slow/irregular heart rate). Before taking CLONIVAC 100 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have Raynaud’s phenomenon (condition marked by decreased blood flow to the fingers and toes), depression, constipation, altered sensation, diabetes, liver, and/or kidney problems. CLONIVAC 100 TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy. It is also not recommended for use in breast-feeding women. CLONIVAC 100 TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 60 years/above) after consulting the doctor. How It Works
CLONIVAC 100 TABLET works by relaxing the blood vessels which makes the heart to pump blood more efficiently around the body thus resulting in the lowered blood pressure and thereby managing hypertension in affected individuals.
Directions for Use
Take CLONIVAC 100 TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
