INTRODUCTION ABOUT CLINBIOTIC SOFTGEL SUPPOSITORIESCLINBIOTIC SOFTGEL SUPPOSITORIES is a combination of Clindamycin, Clotrimazole, and Tinidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics, Antifungals, and Antiprotozoals respectively. It is used to manage vaginal infections caused by fungus alone or secondarily infected with bacteria. How It Works
CLINBIOTIC SOFTGEL SUPPOSITORIES works by stopping the growth of infecting fungus where Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit and directly managing the formation of bacterial protein. Clotrimazole inhibits the synthesis of a substance (ergosterol), which is an integral part of the cell membrane, thus impairing the fungal cell membrane, and Tinidazole releases certain unstable molecules (free radicals) during cell metabolism that bind to DNA, damage it, and results in cell death.
Directions for Use
Use CLINBIOTIC SOFTGEL SUPPOSITORIES as advised by your physician. It is for vaginal use only. Check the label for directions before use. Wash and dry your vaginal area and lie on your back and gently insert the medicine into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and severity of infection.
