How It Works

CEFOLAC CV 50MG ORAL SUSPENSION is a powerful antibiotic. It contains two medicines, namely, cefixime and clavulanic acid. Cefixime kills susceptible bacteria by blocking bacterial cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid stops the bacteria from producing toxic proteins (such as beta-lactamases) that can reduce the effects of antibiotics. Collectively, these actions destroy the susceptible bacteria and manage their further growth and multiplication, which in turn reduces the severity of the infection.
