Introduction

CEFADROX CV DT TABLET is a combination of Cefadroxil and Clavulanic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Cephalosporins and Beta-lactamase Inhibitors. It is used to manage bacterial infections like urinary tract infections and respiratory tract infections like pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, skin and skin structure infections, gonococcal urethritis and ear, nose and throat infections like chronic maxillary sinusitis and chronic otitis media. CEFADROX CV DT TABLET should be used with caution in patients with lung, liver or kidney disease and gastrointestinal diseases like colitis and fits. CEFADROX CV DT TABLET should be used with caution in pregnancy only if necessary. In breastfeeding women, CEFADROX CV DT TABLET should be used with caution. CEFADROX CV DT TABLET helps to manage bacterial infections, where Cefadroxil is a cephalosporin antibiotic and works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, leading to bacterial cell lysis and death. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that works by binding and inhibiting beta-lactamase (an enzyme that destroys antibiotic activity) produced by bacterial cells and thereby manages the reduction in antibacterial activity.

Directions for Use

Take CEFADROX CV DT TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicines with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.

Side Effects
