It contains the active ingredient Paracetamol. Paracetamol provides analgesic (reduce pain) and antipyretic (reduce fever) effect by blocking the effects of prostaglandin (substance produced during injury and inflammation causing pain and increases the body temperature) and blocks the pain signals between the nerve endings and brain. Always give Calpol 120 Strawberry Flavour Suspension as advised by your physician. The usual dose depends on the child’s age, body weight and health condition. Shake well before each use.
