CALORATE 740 Tablet is a Calcium supplement which is used to manage calcium deficiency in patients who are not getting enough calcium from their daily diet. It is indicated in certain conditions caused by low calcium levels such as osteoporosis (bone loss) osteomalacia or rickets (weak bones), hypoparathyroidism (decreased activity of parathyroid gland), latent tetany (certain muscle disease) and hip joint plastic surgery. CALORATE 740 Tablet can also be used in certain conditions such as pregnancy and lactation, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), post-menopausal osteoporosis, senile osteoporosis and drug induced osteoporosis. It contains calcium orotate as active ingredient. Calcium orotate is very important for the normal functioning of the muscles, bone, nerves and cells. It also helps in maintaining healthy cartilage and is involved in the synthesis of DNA and RNA. Always take CALORATE 740 Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the tablet. Take 1 or 2 tablets daily with meal or as advised by the doctor. CALORATE 740 Tablet is recommended in pregnant and breast feeding mothers.
