calcium during growth, pregnancy, lactation as adjunctive therapy in osteoporosis to manage calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency to manage osteomalacia to manage malnutrition Talk to Doctor Pregnancy & Breast Feeding Children & Adolescents Driving & Using Machines Talk to your Doctor before taking CALONAT D3, if you: are allergic to any of the ingredients in CALONAT D3 have elevated level of calcium in the blood have liver or kidney problem If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking CALONAT D3 NA NA Tell your doctor if you are taking, cardiac glycosides, diuretics (used to manage heart disease) thiazide diuretics (used to manage high blood pressure) systemic corticosteroids (reduce inflammation) cholestyramine (used to manage itching) laxatives such as paraffin oil (used to manage constipation) quinolone antibiotics, tetracycline (used to manage infections) bisphosphonates (used to manage Osteoporosis) levothyroxine (used to manage thyroid disease) Always take CALONAT D3 exactly as your doctor has told you Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water Do not crush or chew the tablet If you take more CALONAT D3 If you take more CALONAT D3 than you should, talk to a doctor or go to a hospital straight away Symptoms of overdosage are: hypervitaminosis D and hypercalcaemia If you forget to take CALONAT D3 If you forget to take a dose, skip the missed dose. Then take your next dose as normal Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a forgotten dose If you stop taking CALONAT D3 Do not stop taking CALONAT D3 without talking to your doctor Serious Common Uncommon Rare Very Rare Like all medicines, CALONAT D3 can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effect not listed below, please tell your doctor immediately NA NA elevated level of calcium in your blood or urine constipation, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea pruritus, rash and urticaria milk-alkali syndrome Additional Information Storage NA Protect from excess heat and light Keep this medicine out of reach of children Store at room temperature (15-25°C) Do not use CALONAT D3 after the expiry date
