INTRODUCTION ABOUT CALMAC LOTIONCalmac Lotion is soothing lotion used to relieve irritations due to insect bites and stings, sunburn, and skin rashes. It contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride, calamine and camphor as active ingredients that protects our skin from harmful particles and provides glowing skin. Calamine is a skin protectant that works by soothing and protecting the skin. Diphenhydramine manages itching by competing with free histamine for binding at H1 receptor sites. Camphor produces the sensation of warmth followed by a cool sensation and thus exhibits anaesthetic properties. Use Calmac Lotion 2-3 times daily or as advised by the physician. Take a small amount and apply on the affected area until it is absorbed by the skin completely. Do not use it on large areas other than the affected area. Avoid rubbing it frequently and let it dry.
